November is the Month of Giving.
Is your group, organization, or business taking donations or doing something special for those in need during this holiday season? We want to help you get the word out so we can do our best to make sure that no one goes without this holiday season in our community. It can be something to benefit the Monroe, Butler County, or Warren County areas.
Send an email to email@example.com and tell us what you are doing and any needs to may have to help make this “Month of Giving” successful. Please include as much information as possible such as, what types of donations you are accepting, what types of donations you need and do not receive enough of. If you are in need of volunteers, please include what they would be doing.
We will publish this information on our various social media outlets.
Monroe certainly has a reputation for coming together during a time of need. Together we can make the “Month of Giving” a huge success.
Join us for a fun-filled evening on December 1st from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the City Building Plaza located at 233 South Main Street.
We will have Monroe’s first tree lighting ceremony and a special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus! There will be entertainment by the Monroe United Methodist Church Bell Choir and the Monroe High School Choir. The Monroe Historical Society will be serving hot chocolate, hot cider, and cookies. Children will not only get their picture taken with Santa, but can also visit with a face painter and balloon artist.
